Feature: asychronous collaboration

Recently I’ve been using hedgedoc intensively to work on papers and seminar materials and it has been a really great workflow. Thanks so much!

One gap I have noticed is that when you do not work together at the same time (and optimally in the same room), the changes are harder to track down.

In particular, if one is collaborating with a bit more distance and asynchronously, it is not always good to change things, but it is important to be able to suggest changes, and then to accept or reject them.

I know that this is something that one can work around, but it would be a feature that would fit precisely to the usage profile of hedgedoc to have suggest/accept/reject changes. Possibly comments as well, but this would follow from the former directly, I think.

Hello @telephon and welcome to the HedgeDoc community!

We have some ideas about that in out issue tracker on GitHub:

Maybe one of these ideas is already something which you would like to see in HedgeDoc?

Just so you don’t think, we’d ignore these ideas: We tagged all of these ideas as 2.x, since the scope of the initial 2.0 release is already big enough. After 2.0 release we’ll re-priotize the remaining issues and ideas.
