Request: Support for horizontal (>) and vertical (^) table cell merging

Hello,
I noticed that table cell merging does not work.
Specifically, horizontal merging using > and vertical merging using ^ are not supported.
Could you please consider adding support for these table cell merging features?
They would greatly improve the usability of tables in HedgeDoc.

It’s true that table editing is currently somewhat minimal in HedgeDoc. We plan to support more features like auto-formatting of markdown tables or a user-interface to quickly add or remove columns and rows. Your feature request fits perfectly into the goal of improving the table editing experience. I will add an issue for this to keep the feature request in our backlog.
