I think it would be cool if there was an option to center align the editor.

What do you mean with “center align the editor”? I guess the following. In case you mean something else, just clarify that a bit more.
Currently, you can choose between having the editor alone or alongside the rendered preview. A view where the editor is just as big as being aside the preview, but being centered and having padding left and right, is no mode we’re planning to implement for now. But as a workaround you could open the editor alone in another window and position that centered on your screen if that’s more comfortable for you?
