Hello,
HedgeDoc doesn’t offer a “Export to GitHub” function. IIRC this is a feature of CodiMD or HackMD.
HedgeDoc is an independent hard fork of CodiMD. We recommend to read https://hedgedoc.org/history/ to understand the name chaos.
Understanding that it doesn’t currently exist, is there any possibility of getting equivalent “Export to GitHub” functionality added in?
Hi @pmetzger,
we currently don’t have a git export planned for the upcoming 2.0. Something like git export/sync is something not quite trivial, so we’d first need to discuss how that would be implemented.
The feature is tracked on GitHub here: Add git export / import connector · Issue #222 · hedgedoc/hedgedoc · GitHub
However, we have an export to GitHub Gist integrated, although that’s of course not the same.
