Hi Team,
I added 99 KB of text in md editor and tried to export html file it gave 5.7 MB of html file. I noticed that, irrespective of my text always file size is 5.7 MB around. Please suggest if any inputs.

It’s right that the difference between the full HTML export and the raw markdown is significant.
However, there are two HTML export options:
HTML
: Creates an HTML file containing all styles and assets bundled, so that the output looks the same as in HedgeDoc. Because of the bundled assets (especially fonts and icons) the file size is so large.
Raw HTML
: Contains a simple markdown-to-HTML conversion but without any styling or assets. You can use this output for further processing with other tools or inclusion into your own HTML page.
Please note, that the HedgeDoc 1.x is in a maintenance-only state, and we won’t add improvements to that export anymore. For the upcoming HedgeDoc 2.0 we’ll try to optimize things a little more in regard to this.
